In your words bloghop and in my words today

Vielen Dank an euch Beide!
I am very happy to be again part of a bloghop. This time cheerleaded from Linda who greatly motivated and organised us all and initiated from Mme Samm whos ideas astonish us and actually make us sew!!! A big thank you to both of you!

When I saw the motto: "in your words", I immediately knew what I wanted to sew. Perhaps this was the reason that I missed to read exactly what the rule was!Lol! Actually to use words which describe me! - Now the used words don't do this but still they have a lot to do with me. Thanks Linda for your encouragement after my first schock!

This quilt shows, that I tend to start a lot, but finish less. Perhaps I am the queen of Ufo's?...  For this year I really want to finally finish unfinished projects! And so I used the little houses I have sewn beginning of 2012.
I am someone who loves to have an open door and I stitched my wish for all those who come and go ,around the houses. You see, I love to stitch.
And here a close up of the words
Come in and stay a little / our sweet home / and when you have to go / leave with a blessed heart
The next project says a little thing about me as a mother.
Just these past days our daughter went through an emotional difficult time and so I just had to sew her a pillow to encourage her. It is made with flannels and very soft.
you are loved / more than you know/ Romans 8, 32-39/  loved daughter, Mam and Dad
And finally I took the word which I had choosen , illustrated and stitched for last year and finished it as a litle wallquilt. It will stay my word for 2013 too.
LISTEN /  My sheep listen to my voice. I know them and they follow me and nobody will take them out of my hands. Joh.10,23.28.
Listen is my word. I have to slow down and listen, listen to! Listen to God, to myself and to the ones who share their heart with me.So that I am able to know what I have to do.

To have a save place for the bibleverses and quotes I want to ponder on , I have attached a ribbon with buttons. So I can pin my papers with my little chick pegs ....

Thanks so much for dropping in and now there are a lot of other words to see. Here are the bloglinks from today:

Herzliche Gruesse Vreni x
