The Tammy bag - my day!

Vielen Dank  Mme Samm!
Did you already see all those great Tammy bags? And today is my day!
Mme Samm designed a great pattern and I am very enthusiastic about it. It is the first time that I have made a bag like this. But it was really easy thanks to the pictures and clear explanations. Thanks so much Mme Samm!

Das Muster kann man hier kaufen. You can buy the pattern here.

Also gerade noch rechtzeitig!Lol!
I had to wait for ever for my frames, but this is a story in itsself. Last friday they finally arrived. So still just in time, lol!

Hier ist also meine erste Tammy. Vielen Dank Katharina!
Here is my first Tammy. I got the fabric a while ago from Katharina and fell in love immediately. It was just perfect for a Tammy! Thanks so much Katharina!

Outside 4 little pockets and inside two small ones and a big one. Really a lot of space!

When measuring I realised that my bag was a little smaller than mentionned int the pattern. So I printed it out again , slightly bigger and made a new one!
I love it, but the frame is for this size really to small. I sadly only ordered 13cm frames instead of bigger ones like15cm.(There were just no 14cm handles in the shop). But I wanted to show you a finished Tammy. So I just sewed the frame in, but will exchange it with a bigger one.
You see, the size is slightly different, it will even be more seen with the right handle.
So these were my first two and my advice for all those who want to sew Tammys too: Better buy a bigger frame than a smaller one. The bag has so much room that it is sad when the opening is to small.

Lol! Es besteht wirklich Suchtfaktor....!
Now as already mentionned, those frames just didn't arrive- but I had so many new ideas in my head that I just kept sewing Tammys.Lol ! They are very addictiv...!
Diesmal habe ich gestickt. Und beide Seiten verschieden.
This time I stitched. And both sides differently.
even the sides got some flowers
Then I saw a great idea on pinterest and had to make my own version

And so I made these two. Also here I will change the frames into bigger ones. They are just a bit to narrow.
Sogar der Boden ist bestickt./ Even the bottom is embellished.

Finally when cleaning up my house I found an old dress from my (at that time 9 years old) daughter. I have hidden it, because I thought some time I would use it for something. And this was just the right project now! I call it my sentimental Tammybag as it is filled with memories of older days...
I reduced the size for this one to fit the handle. Had just such a feeling...
...and its just perfect.
I used an old bracelet of her and some lace as scissorsholder
Yeah, and now I have 5 Tammybags and those won't be the last ones, - finally I have to use the frames I exchange with bigger ones too, don't I? smile...!
Mme Samm has asked us, also to show how we will fill our Tammys.
Die gehört nun unserer Tochter. Endlich genügen Platz für all ihren Nagellack...
This one belongs now to our daughter. Finally enough space for all those nail polish stuff...
Diese hier ist für meine Projekte on the go: momentan für Hexagons und Siggiblöcke...
This one here is for my projects on the go: at the moment: hexies and siggiblocks...
you see it would be more handy with a little bigger frame
This is our "survival kit" for long car drives with our youngest one...
And the sentimental Tammy is my new handquilting compagnion.
Vielen Dank fürs hereinschauen! Nun will ich euch aber springen lassen zu all den anderen tollen Tammybags vom heutigen Tag:
Thanks so much for dropping by! But now I want to let you hop to all the other great  Tammy bags from today:
June 17th - Monday
                     Martina  (you are here)

 Have fun , hugs Martina

How could you get all those finished so fast? You are amazing! I love them all. I laughed and laughed when I saw the "Are we there yet?" bag. That is so cute! Is just perfect for a travel bag for a youngster. I may have to make one for my youngest grandson. Hopefully, he will soon be potty training and then the diaper bag won't be going everywhere and he'll need a place to carry his nuns. Yep, he calls his trucks "nuns" because the noise they make is "nun, nun, nun." I think it would be cute as you have done as well in a "boy" print. I love what you did with your daughter's dress. My daughter will be 34 this summer and I think I still have one dress of hers from when she was about 7. I have no idea what I am going to do with it. Maybe I'll put some of it in a Grandmother's Flower Garden block. She really liked the dress. Thanks for participating and hustling to get the projects completed. They are all phenomenal.
